The Rehabilitation clinic Malvazinky was created as a unique therapeutic-rehabilitation facility. This facility is operated by the company Mediterra s.r.o., which initiated the foundation of this facility and put it into operation in March 2003. MEDITERRA s.r.o. has been a member of the VAMED group since 2008.
Post-injury and post-surgery rehabilitation
Nowadays, this clinic offers a modern comprehensive concept of rehabilitation care in Prague focused on post-injury and post-surgery rehabilitation. Further to that, prevention of chronic, painful and degenerative diseases of the locomotive system (especially spinal column). Expert rehabilitation care is also provided to patients with internal and neurological diagnosis.
Among other things, the clinic also provides specialized services in the area of sport medicine and offers preventive programmes for enhancing physical condition. To achieve that, it takes advantage of the complete spectrum of physical therapy including water treatment procedures and rehabilitation swimming pool.

Wide spectrum of orthopaedic surgeries
In the premises of the clinic, there is also a department of one-day surgery that performs a wide spectrum of orthopaedic surgeries and an orthopaedic unit focused on the implantations of total endoprothesis of hip and knee joints. The Rehabilitation clinic Malvazinky is one of a few medical facilities providing comprehensive care with respect to the total endoprothesis, which includes pre-surgery, surgery, post-surgery and spa-rehabilitation care. All physicians of the said departments have abundant clinical experience in their particular field.
The facility also includes a department of long-term intensive care. It is a workplace providing continuous care for basic life functions of the patients, whose critical health conditions have been stabilized, but any of the basic life functions keeps failing or there is a risk of their failure and the ill person is dependent on the support of any or all life functions in the long-term.
An integral part of the offered services is the out-patient care provided in the following areas – orthopaedy, surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, gynaecology, urology, dermatology, otorhinolaryngology … Out-patient specialists also provide consultation care in their particular area for hospitalized patients in the hospitalization departments of the clinic.
The clinic is located in a peaceful part of Prague with the possibility of parking and adequate privacy.
